Good thing I live up in Glen Cove, lol.
aww Vallejo really is not that bad anymore... it was bad in the 90's. Crime has gone down considerably since then. Just make sure you stay on the East side of I80. no one needs to go on the other side...

Lol, I've lived in Napa most of my life so my opinion is probably quite sheltered, but we're relocating to vacaville sometime in the next year or so so we've been looking at houses in that area recently, my wife and I were surprised when every house we looked at comes with an alarm system. I guess we were kinda turned off by it at first, but we now realize it's more of a staple of the community and surrounding areas.

Solano County is only ghetto in Vallejo and parts of Fairfield. The rest of it is whitebread suburbia, or whitebread rural communities. Vacaville is so tame, routine traffic stops generally end up with 3-4 cruisers on scene, because the officers don't have **** else to do.

Do you think Polly Klaas and Laci Peterson have their own comparative opinion of the problems in "whitebread suburbia" vs. the traditional ghetto?

Are you suggesting that most of Solano is crime-infested because of the handful of high-profile crimes commited there? It's not like homicides and robberies never ever happen, but statistically Solano is pretty safe. I say this even though my aunt was murdered by her husband in their home in Winters about 9 years ago.
