Nothing like a USB flash drive stop working mid use. Fortunately is it was just assorted drivers I use when setting up our community offices.

I've never actually known anybody personally that this has happened to. For me flash drives are like chapstick, you never get to the end of the life, you usually lose it somewhere along the journey.

Me either. I was adding some display adapter drivers and then it suddenly disappeared from my drive list. Tried another port, another computer. Nothing.
