when i had the teeth i went nuts. they but the heart and oxygen monitor on me so i held my breath and started pumping my arm. classic. then when they gave me the 2nd of 3 shots to knock me out Piano man came on the doctors radio and i said:
"you cant knock me out to this. im gona wake up hella drepressed. not cool. dont you guys have any Floyd?"
to which he responded
"no we only have Floyd on fridays"

then he looked me in the eyes and slowly pushed the 3rd shot in to shut me the **** up
bottom line. drugs are good

while I was getting my x-ray they shot me in the leg with it... I could literally feel this warm sensation going up my leg... so I was like uhhhh... did you guys just give me morphine? they were like ya! then after a few minutes I became the happiest man on earth. It was weird, I could still feel the pain 100% I just stopped caring about it. Hard to explain to people who haven't experience it before, which i'm sure it's the same with you and your drugs. You been back for check up visits yet?
I've been back to the doctor once since my surgery. At that visit, they pulled my stitches and staples, checked my swelling, checked pain, etc. My next check is 8/30. I get xrays and an eval. I'm hoping that I'll be healed enough and they'll pull the cage off my leg and put me in to something like a walking brace that is removable. I know I won't be able to walk and I'll stay off the leg as long as they tell me to, but I don't want a hard cast since they're a pain in the *** to shower with, I don't want to deal with the itching, etc. The paperwork my doctor gave me for work said no weight bearing until 9/15 so I think that's the first time I'll be allowed to try walking again. I need to hurry up and buy a cane off ebay; I never realized canes all came with built in flasks

I started talking **** to the anastegialogist when they were doing a local. he told me they had ANYTHING I wanted to hear. He claimed to be the human jukebox. With the dilaudid it would start at my head making it feel tingly and then this wave would shoot down my whole body. It was incredible. I don't do drugs so I've never understood the addiction before, but this really made me see how people could get addicted to a drug. The stuff made me feel soooooooo good.

word, i've never done drugs either(surprisingly) but after taking morphine shots every hour for a day or two... oh mannnn could I see getting addicted to those things. It seriously felt like I was floating.
Word... i HATE HATE HATE hard casts, they are such a pain in the ***. I had an option for a hard cast with my arm. The doctor was like you will have to wear it for I thikn it was 3-6 months, and it might not heal perfectly straight... OR you can get plates put in... where a cover for two weeks or so, and be done with it basically... I was like Where do I pick up my plates at!! not to mention I got some *****en scars outa the deal
and better yet... about 95% of all arm movement/hand movement back...
They say you will be at high risk at all for loss of movement?

i got slipped that crap at a rave in oakland when i was a kid...someone had it in pills that looked identical to the E that was there...second rate crap that made me feel like my head was gonna implode!
halfway through the night i got so sick to my stomach and ended up dry heaving for about 20 mins until i spit up the pill...after that i felt like crap the rest of the night.
found out later it was Special K...
it's a horse/cat tranquilizer. vets use it.
stay away from that junk! it's not made for humans!

the doctor pulling out the xray of my arm and put it up on the thing to look at it. I couldn't see it so I screamed out "How'd I do?!?!" he goes "you did pretty good... broke it all the way through" I was like "Damn straight, I never like to half *** anything... if i'm gunna do somethign i'm gunna do it right the first time"

haha yeah I know what you mean. Lack of alcohol has made my weekends boring, but its for the great good I suppose. During the week I don't drink because I have to get up at 4am M-F and prefer not to have a hang over or feel crappy during the next day and especially not while I'm at the gym.
