So yesterday I inherited 5 clustered environments and each needs to be tested for proper fail over once per quarter. That means today I had to schedule 20 tests for up to a year in advance.
So I'm going through and setting up the approval process and the first round is set for 7/23. I get an email from one of the guys on the approval list who read the date at 6/23 and then was confused about the dates further and thought we were doing them this weekend. He was obviously unhappy with me due to the "short notice".
I was going to reply with: "6/23 was yesterday, and since you guys usually want stuff done yesterday, I was just trying to be accomodating".
But I didn't
I like my paycheck, and he seems like a nice enough guy so I didn't want to be a ***** :rotfl:
