Damnit, the fuel smell we've been having on Jen's car isn't covered under the warranty, so it'd be $600+ to have fixed. Not sure I want to pull the intake manifold myself.

Nope, not to my knowledge maybe I'll call Maita and AutoNation just to be sure but from what I've seen on Legacygt.com no one has really had any luck with getting it done for free since it isn't a recall.

No they aren't. TSB just tells the techs how to fix a common issue whereas a recall is fixing a known safety defect. Sometimes they'll extend a warranty on major common issues.
