Federal Tires in Sac?

Hey, Im thinking about trying out a set of the Federal 595RS-R. So far all I've really seen selling them is citytire. Does anyone know if I can pick up a pair here in Sacramento? And has anyone run them before?

Thanks!!

Pretty much any Les Schwab carries them… I would stay away from them, only because I used to work for Les Schwab for almost 3 years and seen a lot of failed federal tires. I would go with Zexius (made by the same company that makes Falken) or even Toyo.

Let me know if you have any questions...

And yea they do melt like butter.

Maybe I like butter? haha, ok, thanks for the advice. maybe I'll go dunlop instead. Just debating on which cheapish tire to go with after running 615's for awhile. Tirerack has star specs for $121, that seems to be the best deal I can find right now. Any other options I should be looking at?

I'd look into the star specs. Those would be a safer bet.

even though they are not rated as high as the star specs, look at the hankook rs2s which are on a close out

I'd recomend getting the OEM tires that come with your car or something better. Tires are the only thing between you and the ground. Not something I would skimp on.

<-- not shopping for take-offs at the local pick-n-pull or using retreads.
