Exhaust Fitment

Just bought an axel back exhaust and it looks like it is too short to match up to my stock mid-pipe and still meet the exhaust hangers. Has any one encountered this? I'm thinking i might need to get a mid-pipe made from an exhaust shop but not too sure.

Also, can the axel back (3" piping) bolt right on to the stock mid-pipe?

Sorry if this is already answered in a different thread, just didn't see it anywhere.

no, 3" piping won't bolt right on to the stock mid-pipe.
Go to the muffler shop, they will fix it for you

Yeah, that's kinda what i was thinking. I might have to just get a catback to avoid this issue.
