I wouldn't mind the mall going in cuz it will greatly accelerate the extension of grant line to I-5.

I think it's a terrible idea. The Mall of America is 4.2 million square feet. They want something bigger... plus it is too close to the propane tanks on the other side of 99. If they blew, it would take out everything within a mile and melt everything in a slightly larger area... plus traffic concerns.

They are already talking about turning Grant Line into an expressway between 99 and 50.

The 50-99-5 expressway isn't supposed to be done for another 15-20 years. I want it done in 4.

My friends got a small check for living so close to those tanks. I don't think they should have though. It's like people who buy houses next to the airport then b1tch about the noise.

I think the reason they got paid off was because the developer didn't disclose that to them and they were supposed to.

I guess that's what happened then. They did some study and estimated damages do to broken windows and such.
