drop off unwanted TVs, monitors, computers, printers at Cal Expo April 22-23
From SacBee.com,
http://www.sacbee.com/content/busine...15061753c.html
"Got old TVs, stereos, computers and other unwanted electronic gear you
want to unload? You can dispose of them for free at a recycling event
scheduled for April 21-23 at Cal Expo.
"Sponsored by Electronic Waste Management, a private recycling company,
the event will also accept monitors, video game consoles, printers,
telephone gear and toner cartridges. It runs from noon to 5 p.m. on
April 21 and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on April 22 and 23.
"It will not accept microwave ovens, copy machines, household
appliances, smoke detectors or batteries.
"Those dropping off items will be required to complete a state-mandated
form detailing what is being recycled. To speed the drop-off process,
officials at Electronic Waste Management suggest downloading the form
from the company's Web site, www.noewaste.com, and filling it out in
advance."
Site FAQ also lists other acceptable items such as old VCRs.
Cal Expo event will be held in parking lot A, as detailed in site events.
