That's only because I kept it under 60. My semi track pads couldn't even get up to temp and start squealing.

Your belts/power steering were making an aweful racket when you backed out of the observation point.

I have to say Eric, what youve done with your suspension seemed to do the trick out there. Aside from coilovers/stiffer struts, you seem to have it pretty dialed in. Even with less horsepower you didnt seem to have any problems hanging with the front group. Nice work!

For both of us just upgrading our brakes would probably make a huge difference. Being able to brake later and stronger would help out a ton.

I had no clue how it was going to handle because that was the first test I've put it through. I've never gone that fast on winding roads before. It was so freakin fun!

Just don't let the little head do the thinkint the big head should be in charge of.

This is what happened to a Mustang buddy that got a false sense of "***** of steel" - he was lucky to have not gone a few feet farther out and a few hundred feet down...

Its true to have a firm grasp on the limits of your car but at the same time

WRX > Mustang on twisties

That was 5+ years ago when those pix were shot. The guy went on a few drives with us, then threw on a set of Ford Motorsport C springs - C as in Comfort lowering springs and thought his car handled like it was on rails. If I remember right, the only problem was that a little gravel in the road, a heavy right foot and a RussB like gay *** automatic transmission did not work well to control the spin.

Seriously, only a rooster loving gay *** nancy boy gets an automatic performance car...

In the case of this car that is true, but I can think of several Mustangs that I woud put against a WRX - even one with a heavily modified suspension any day...

Nice. Those were probably the only thing stopping him from going over.
