downpipe question

downpipe question

if i put a high-flow catted dp on my 02 wrx would it through out a CEL and not pass smog?

It depends, are you using any EM?
If you are looking to pass smog, I don't think you will. Im pretty sure you need to have your stock DP.

It may not trip a MIL, but it would stil fail smog visually.

I think it really depends on the actual person doing your smog. I've heard stories that as long as a cat exists you're good. I've also heard you need the stock cats. I think it just depends on how strict they feel like being.
