hahahahahaha sorry I couldn't keep a straight face. :rotfl:
You laugh but how will this impact your local shop? I think it's bad for S^2 unless they have the same setup.

Cobb has apparently made their decision, we kept asking them for pricing, and they wouldn't get back to us. It sucks, but we don't have plans of picking up the ProTuner software anytime soon due to Cobb's inability to even respond to us.
We'll talk to them at SEMA and see what's up in person, but until then, our plan is to go forward with the Ecutek user-tune solution that's in beta at the moment.

I'm sorry, Dan, I wish I had better news :|

I should add that we don't have any issues with using Street Tuner, or tuning with the individual Protuner licenses, but Cobb has not wanted to work with us in any way on the shop licensing.

Thanks Tron. ProTuner wouldn't really benefit me anyway. If I wanted you guys to custom tune my stuff I would just leave my laptop with you.

I'm just worried about your other customers.

Yeah, I know. For the most part, we're an Ecutek shop, so it's not affecting many but I know there are some people who will be disappointed, especially some of the Reno guys, and I feel bad about that.

Mein Gott im Himmel!!
Ist sehr heiss!!

I was talking to The Nate last Friday whilst he was dyno-ing my car.
Mentioned the issues with Cobb and mentioned that he only has a few customers that have an AP.

Nate went on to say that ECUtek is working on a AP-esque product and got into details that only hurt my Luddite brain.

But, if this product is released, I'd happily swap from Cobb to ECUTek.

BTW, Tron...I left the swaybar in your convertibla wagon @ the shop.

Pssst. Hey Josh,

What's it take to get the *****ing betty Bingo fuel voice for my car?

I want:
BINGO
CAUTION
LOCK
WARNING

and maybe some others. I'm hoping it's just a box (smaller than a shoebox) with some simple inputs.
