When I went to work at my first job, as a part-time stock clerk at a Chevy dealer in my home town, my grandmother gave me a Parker Jotter to use. She died a couple of years later, and the only time I don't have one on me at work is when someone has snatched it!

Driving today a girl (of course talking on her cell phone) pulls off the road. It's one lane and no shoulder....
Had to blare the horn and hope I didn't get rear ended. She pulled over in low visibility, on a narrow road, on a busy street, with no warning, in the rain....
Hope whatever she was talking about was almost as important as causing an accident.
