defi boost gauge help..PLEASE!

defi boost gauge help..PLEASE!

know this really isnt the "place" to be asking but other thread got nothing. =(..


installed a defi boost gauge..thing doesnt work...=(..took it off a friends car working. believe there is some kind of short, by what the manual says..so was just wondering how else people have wired theres? mines wired/spliced into the radio/hvac harness..ive tripple checked wiring, still come up with nothing..so if someone with better electrical skills or knows another way of wiring wanna help??

I have mine wired in through my fuse block and have no issues what-so-ever. I would try and find a different route other then the one you have tried maybe looking up a different wiring setup. I'm sure plenty of people have theres posted up with pictures. I have an 09 and was able to find one same day. Let me know if you get it fixed

yes my car is NA, and bought a boost gauge.....-__-..jk =)..

no its a 06 wrx wagon like thomas mentioned. I looked at several wright ups. most of uhm 02-05 and wired through the clock. only one i was able to come up with 06+ was through the hvac/radio harness...might just have to wire through the fuse box. Call me lazy, aha, but looked at a s/m and i was all confused. So used to Acura diagrams from work. even though its the same concept -__- lollll

thomas might try and make it out to the meet, dont think itll help though considering id have to take the radio and what not out though..

"peak" indicator flashes even/constantly. not sure what could be shorted, as ive tripple checked all the wiring..

He got it figured it, it was a bad connection in the plug.
