My girlfriends dad was stlkaing me and I was trying to get away, and I didn't know the area very well, I turned down a side street, and stopped at the stop sign, didn't see the one way sign, started to turn right, I had just pulled out a little and since I was looking left cause it was a two lane street to see if someone was coming, she basically knocked the front end off my car, we didn't hit head on, but my bumper was some ways away from my car. BTW the lady doesn't have insurance, anyone know if I can sue the guy chasing me and threatening to hurt me, which is what caused me to get into the accident, which turns out to be my fault... I got a ticket for not obeying a oneway sign, and she got a ticket for no insurance...

well, i am no law expert but i mean it does sound like you were running away from danger, so i suppose it does sound logical. one thing to think about, however, might be the potential reprocussions (i cant spell for crap) with your girlfriend if you do decide to sue her father.

shes staying with him right now, and at the scene I was served with a restraining order from her, so I don't think thats an issue anymore... sorry to highjack a thread, thanks for the advice, she is just finishing up her second year in lawschool, so I need all the help I can get, I've already moved all my stuff out of our apartment and into my new place, if she doesn't pay her half to break out of the lease or the whole rent by the 4th then we get evicted, I am not going to cover for her, when she caused all this.
