Sure the only "benefits" are
-larger display
-GPS
-Audio control

All things that destroy battery life. People have been saying with the HR, you charge it every 4-5 days. If you have the Surge and leave the GPS on, its only around 5hrs.. and its like $100 more.

Interesting, only curious because I want to get something like that for my pops (heart condition and all) so he has some kind of gauge to keep himself in check. Given that he's older I want something that he can easily see too and is somewhat intuitive although I doubt the HR would be difficult to use.
