Could a ford be in your future?

http://www.caranddriver.com/carnews/...s-and-dig.html

They were not clear if their inline fours would be sporting twin turbo's too. Probably not. Didn't Chryslers "Wraith" concept/pace car have a twin turbo version of the Dodge Spirit R/T's four cylinder? In any case I'd seriously consider a twin turbo or just turbo direct injected AWD Fusion or better yet Mondeo or more along the line of a Focus RS turbo AWD. I'd imagine that they would be using the same motor that is in the Mazdaspeed3 as the basis for the inline four, the only difference being tuning and likely intercooler placement. But the twin turbo six is really interesting, especially if they see fit to put it in a rear drive or awd sedan.

The difference is, Subaru got over it and Ford didn't.

Maybe the will maybe they won't. I have faith in their engineers prowess. Its their management that was the problem. With a new CEO and and more Eurocentric products and modern powertrains who knows? I owned a Contour and they were one of the slickest handling cars of their time as is evidence by how many wins the Mondeo had under its belt. The Escort RS's were kick *** not to mention their Australian products that we never got. They've been marketing twin turbo RWD sedans in Australia for years. They just need to get their collective heads out of the *****. It seems like their coming around.

When Ford puts something worth buying on a US showroom, I would consider buying it. But they're a long way off from that right now.

I'd buy this. With a high output direct injected motor turbo or not. The wagon is even sexier.

Fiesta, I'd rather drive this than a Fit or a Yaris or an Accent for that matter.
