It's cooled off enough to want to drive the Miata to work, but of course it's blocked in by my parents boat. There's currently 8 cars and a boat at my parents house so parking is a bit tight lol

Spent my weekend working on the car.

Still got some touching up, and clear coating to do. I think it will go well with my Prodrive headlights

I had a pretty bad one last night.
Gone by the time I woke up, but I can feel it starting to come back. Prolly just need to eat lunch.

I'm glad for the cooler weather on a number of different fronts, but the one germane to this fine assemblage of Subaru enthusiasts is the fact that I got a dynotune done on the Fozbox today by none other than everyone's favorite larger than life tuner Travis @ Snail Performance. After my experience today I can see why he not only gets a nod from many enthusiasts, but is the housewive's choice as well.
Compared to the OTS Cobb VF43 map, Travis' tune feels very smooth and much less peaky. Lag is reduced and overall pull is increased. It's weird because the cars feels "slower" (less aggressive) but I end up covering a lot more ground much quicker than before.
Peak numbers are not the ultimate goal, but this 109k mile oil sipper did 313/322 after all was said and done.
