Coilover install Question

I got one coilover in and I lowered it down and took a look at it. Its not nearly as low as I want. I can fit four fingers between the tire and fender. I've got the key to adjust it but how do I do it? Can I do it with the tire on, on the ground? Or do I have to jack it up?

PS- Can anyone recommend a good shop that can align my car for a good price with a warrenty?

you have to jack up the car to adjust the coilover. what kind of coilover do you have? if you were closer to W. Sac I'd help you.

For the alignment, I took my car to Les Schwab to get the alignment done and they did a great job plus came with warranty. BTW, you suppose to post this thread in the suspension section.

Lets be honest... no one is on the suspension forum.

How do I get to nuts on the tophat for the rear?

you have to remove the rear seat so you can get to the rear tophat.

Got that. Got the stock coilover out and am having the hardest time to line the bolt holes up on the bottom.

yea, when people were putting my coilovers on, the rears are really hard to line up, you just have to keep adjusting until they line up.

DMS Gold 40mm.

All 4 are on and the tires have contact with cement

Fender gap.... mmmm. I have 2" on the front and 1" in the back. I want 1" all the way around. Is it safe to go that low?
