To the Chinese food enthusiasts

I'm sure there are at-least a handful of guys (and girls) here who love food as much as i do so i figured you may want to know this.

Last night my fiancee and and I were craving some Chinese food for diner and despite knowing this wasn't a good idea, I tom tom'd the closest place to my location. Tommy sent me to a place in Citrus Heights, on the corner of old auburn and Auburn called, "Wonderful Chinese Food". Even though the name sounded kinda sketchy, my stomach was overpowering my doubt. The location itself was a bit run down and looked a bit neglected but that was overshadowed but the overwhelmingly polite man who greeted us named Wilson. The food was fairly priced considering we were having family style diner and tea was complimentary. my fiancee and I ordered chow mien, walnut shrimp and sesame chicken. The food took a while to come but that's because they don't pre-make anything they serve. The food was absolutely incredible! I love my chicken crispy and shrimp even crispier and they definitely got that down. It was incredibly fresh, served super hot and served enough for 4 people! I highly recommend this place for anyone who has a taste for Chinese food. Even though I only had a few things off of the menu, I'm very eager to try more. Their food is in-fact "Wonderful" I assure you

sorry for the weird post

I work at the Domino's Pizza right there off of Auburn and usually always go to the new Chinese place near where the Kragen Auto Parts is on Auburn more towards Smart and Final direction.

Is this place in the Mr. Pickles parking lot or in the Starbucks parking lot?
I might have to try it for lunch tomorrow at work.
See if they make a good Kung Pao or maybe foil wrapped chicken.

My Dad once told me as a kid-the bad thing about eating Chinese food is that after you're done, you fart once and you're hungry again-lol. Oh, by the way, don't ever order *** of sum dum guy, it smells like persimmons!

Been going to Wonderful for years... My place of choice when I have a hankering for Chinese food AND a sweet tooth. Best fried prawns ever.

The Best Ever is Nathan's in Elk Grove. I could eat myself to death there.

Happy Garden on Elk Grove Blvd. (right in old town EG) is pretty good-go there all the time, plus there's a worker there with a white 06 STi to chat with!

Imo the best chinese food is around freeport area. There's Jade Fountain (a little dirty) next door is New HK wok and across the street is Far east. Down the road is Yummy Guide and on Sutterville there is Macau. New Station on Broadway is good as well.
