Cheescake Factory on Arden - Worst Restaurant EvAr!!1!
Dawn and I just got back from the cheesecake factory, and it was not very good at all. Service was pretty much non-existant and the food wasn't very good. I've been to the same place once before and it was "just o.k." that time (pretty hard to screw up a hamburger).
We ate at the one in Seattle during our honeymoon (once on the way to canada and once on the way back) and it was some of the best food we've ever had.

I never did like the Cheesecake Factory. That place is too hyped up IMO.

Never been to the cheese cake factory but now I'll pass.
Not to Hi-Jack the thread completely but The Elephant Bar on Arden and Logans in Elk Grove suck *** too. It's sad because the Logans in KY and NC used to be pretty damn good places with a bunch of eye candy waitresses. That said, it seems like it takes a Restaurant some time to get the knots out.

I haven't been to the CheeseCAKE (not steak) Factory here but the one in SF was good.

Haha I don't know why I said cheesesteak factory but I used to go to the one off M st in Washington D.C. and it's great. Let me go back and edit so there's no confusion later...
And yes, we need a D&B like yesterday!
I occasionally take a few friends to Milpitas and stay at a cheap motel just to play there on a Saturday night.
The they could put one in Natomas, Roseville/Rocklin or Wilton just past Elk Grove. I don't know why they don't...

They have a lounge and a pretty sweet bar up front and then a full restaurant with kick *** food. They are next door to a club called Empire so they get a lot of hungry people from there. Icon serves alcohol till 2am, but stays open serving drunk food till 4. It's pretty cool.

i think it's more of an employee kind of problem and not the chain itself... i've noticed that the service and food prep at most local restaurants really blows. not surprisingly, service in most retail stores also sucks a big one. could it be because the employee's of these places are all in pretty much the same age group?
