i just finished doing a stage 4 install over the weekend, but my AP broke (won't power up when connected to AC power/diagport) so i can't flash to a new map or even read the CEL my car is throwing. i sent it in to cobb earlier today, but i still need the car for work and school and the AP won't be back probably till friday. if anyone has an AP or means to pull a CEL code, i would be very appreciative if you could help me out. i live in davis, but am more than willing to drive out to sacramento.

just fyi about the CEL:
-turns on immediately after starting
-car doesn't make boost
-spark plugs have been checked and redone
-no injector leaks
-up pipe CEL fix done
-ecu currently flashed for a stage 2 (stock with TBE)

You can get CELs pulled and most autoparts stores.

 

if by stage 4 you mean installing larger injectors and a bigger turbo, but it's still running on a map tuned for the stock turbo and injectors, it's probably caused by that.

 

i MIGHT be able to pull it for you at work on tues. i work at senator subaru. i could hook you up at lunch so you don't have to worry about paying some bull**** diag fee and listen to the service write tellyou you're out of warranty otherwise, pepboys can do it

Where is it determined what stage is what? That seems really cornball, not to mention 2Fast2Dumb, to just call things "stage X" Why not just say you installed larger injectors and a bigger turbo...

I'm running stage suck my ***** (stock). I have an OBD reader if that would help at all, I work in Rancho Cordova (I'm off at 4:30pm if you wanna make the trip up).

 

I'm on stage 5. I'm having problems though. Trying to kill koopa when you're small mario can be tough.
