Unhappy Caught by an airplane at 107MPH

Hi,
I was caught by an airplane near Roseville driving 107MPH.
I was on my way home from Tahoe with my buddy.
I live in the south bay and would like to get your advice on how compassionate the judge in that area is... and if you can offer some location sensitive advice.
Thanks,
Assi (Espressomanr)

Dude, sorry to be a jerk, but if you were doing 107mph on the freeway during heavier traffic hours and days (you know, like a Sunday or whatever) you should just pay it.

You could try to get in with www.ticketassasin.com but I don't know how much they can help you. Tickets > 100mph are hard to fight. Why were you driving that fast to begin with?

It was Wed. at 4:30PM, the road was clear.
I wanted to get home fast and was not paying attention to my speed.
I dont think I drove that fast but thats what the cop said when he stopped me...

i-80 is anything but clear on a weekday at 4:30 pm. i believe in roseville, once you cross the 100mph barrier it becomes a 2 point violation. the fee's are not that bad in that district. i got busted doing 97 and it came out to $165 + $30 something for traffic school.

i paid up because i was being a dumbass and got busted for something and deserved what was coming.

A lot of places in the state will bump the fines significantly over the 100mph mark. In some areas, 100mph+ = instant $1k fine

Placer county or Sacramento County?

Pretty much screwed either way, but I hear Placer county is cracking down hard.

The new law re: 100 mph or over will hurt. I hope you have allot of time for community service. That maybe part of what you get + fine.

You can always fight the ticket and hope that one of the two officers (the airplane officer and the cruiser officer) doesn't show up to court. Of course that means having to drive back up here.

I got popped doing 90 in that same area. You're pretty much screwed. If you go to court they usually offer a lower fine, but over 100, you can't do traffic school, I don't think...
