because you might hit a deer. a mid sized male deer came right out of nowhere in the gold river area and right in front of my car. i mashed the brakes, no traffic behind me, and still hit the bastard at around 10~15mph. as i was on the phone with chp, the stupid thing got up and limped off...

the wierdest thing of all? i can't find any damage to my car. none. i'll inspect again tomorrow in the daylight, but didn't see anything tonight. no big scratches, no out of whack body lines, no broken or out of place lights, nothing.

I hit a deer a few years ago up in Colfax. Was doing about 60 and hit it just as it started to jump. No damage to my car
