can you handle the Snow, reno?
Looks like the snow has let up...I went out for a drive...The sun is peeking through now, but looking at the mountain, it looks like there will be more on the way..
As you can see, STI + Pink Springs = Hot snowplow action...

According to the forecast, the snow has stopped for now...and it should be done for today...However, if it clears and gets colder tonight, all the roads are going to ice up real bad. Yikes...Ice sucks.

Good luck guys!
news states it might snow a bit more before morning!
like matt(reno) said they work 24hrs to try to get the road cleaned up. I have to say in the reno city area they do a real good job plowing like pros.
Good luck everyone getting home! I love having the knowledge that all of you are smart are responsive drivers so I really don't worry!.....................much.

[grace]We Coloradan's thank you Reno, for sending this wonderful gift of snow to us, causing many of us, myself included, to have three of the most kick-*** days of skiing evAr.
Amen[/grace]

We did get tons of snow from this same storm... sections (where I was in southern colorado) got 30"+ (42" in one section during 24hrs
) which caused for the most amazing early season skiing I have ever had. Even where I was (South Park), in a section that is normally not graced by tons of snow we got 18" which combined with highwinds/drifts caused the forester to be stuck in my driveway for a good 2hrs on the way to go skiing (26" of snow + uphill + needing new tires = no go). However, this same snow meant nobody on the lifts and me to get 28 runs today, 32 runs yesterday, and 24 runs on friday, all in fresh powder!
