We don't have an actual ticket system. Our method here is to email our supervisor then that supervisor emails our call center mananger and then that person emails the IT dept manager then he dispatches it to his IT underlings...GOD I HATE their BS method sooo much. I hate it even more when you ask the IT guys to do something and they have free time and they're all happy to acknowledge they'll do it but NEVER actually follow through. Like my computer doesn't have sound or flash so I can't go to many websites that use flash or use youtube/google video on the weekends. Now I could just move my computer with another, but they need to audit that BS so I don't move them. I really hate that I do exactly what they do at past jobs, but feel so retarded to ask them to do it for me since they have to. But it's really nice when you get an opportunity to school them and fix an issue for them and make 'em seem like idiots

We dreaded the rumored interview were they wanted to see how well you new the app. This was good practice. We actually didn't use mice. They were tablets. You were cool if you catual had the real ACAD tablet overlay instead of a photcopy.
Then windows came along and you had to set up your tablet as a mole instead of a mouse.

I wouldn't use one today. a keyboard+mouse+context menus+better overall UI=not worth the hassle.
