who came up with "blobeye"? i sure as hell didn't vote on it. too hard to let the bugeye be all on it's own? in my book the 04+ came with normal nothing special head lights. if a remark needs to be made why not go with a name for the 04+ taillights?

Second, the term "blobeye" comes from posts that I've read over at ClubWRX.net. It refers to the 04/05 WRX's, since <'03's are considered "bugeyes". It looks like the first use of the "blobeye" term comes from late 2002. Check the last post on the first page of this thread to get the details.
