Then there are numerous other times that she has been irrational.
Really, overall it's a good place to work, but I want to see what else is out there. I was surprised when that Vacaville entry-level IT job was posted on the SRIC and the starting salary was around $40,000...let's just say my current company is getting a steal on me.
P.S. Off to work I go!

Had to get our daily office space up in here.
BTW, our positions here (there are now TWO open) are not really entry level. Our job title pretty much covers anything you can do as a technician, from replacing mice to building exchange servers. In a way some of us are getting hosed (raises hand) by doing enterprise work and getting paid the same or less as a tech that does nothing but answer phones and replace monitors. The turnover we are going through is mainly do to this borked up job classification.

Arhg...
My boss's birthday is today & #2 got a cake for her.
Talk about un-natural friendliness...
I got a few "boy, you're old" comments before excusing myself.

I am finally at the top of that range plus I get a 3% pay differencial for my certifications. Not too bad for me, but I don't think I would work here if offered the bottom of range unless I needed job really bad.
