The Beach Hut Deli, Elk Grove

So The Beach Hut Deli is coming to Elk Grove and I'm hoping it'll be done this spring. It's a gourmet sandwich shop for those of you that don't know. Besides serving deli quality style sandwiches as compared to Subway or Quinoz, The Beach Hut Deli serves beer on tap too! Yay!

I’m already trying to get Newcastle on tap because it's my favorite. The only problem is that we must serve a certain number of "X" beers on tap as stated in the restaurant contract. I also think Newcastle makes a good shandy which can go well with a sandwich on a hot day.

Anyways, I need a beer idea from you guys because we may have another tap open to our discretion.

So what's it gonna be?

Honestly, go with a beer like Heineken. Better than most of the domestic swill, still cheap, lets people think they're continental
hehe.

Even though I enjoy the occasional Guinness, it tends to be too filling. It's a damn meal within itself and may take attention from the food.

Pabst? LOL Rrrrright... But thanks for getting Blue Velvet stuck in my head.

They have a Beach House Deli in Roseville, which I'm assuming is the same place, and it's awesome! When I was living in Lincoln, I'd go there at least once a week. Awesome sammiches, and as Salty said, they have b33r on tap

If you havn't eaten there, check it out. I reccoment the 'Hobie' or their cold pastrami (forgot the name). Good stuff.

The small sammiches are around $5, regular $7, and large $9. I've never made it through one of their large sandwiches, and that's a rarity.

Oh, and there are always hot chicks working there, too

The one in Roseville is right across the way on Stanford ranch from where the old WalMart used to be, in the same shopping center as the Cingular store.
