I also got chrome bulbs that blink amber to give it that cleaner look.A couple quick questions though, for the first time, do you use silicone to reseal the headlights or can I just use the original silicone that are on the headlights already?
Do you recommend Krylon Fusion black paint? If so, matte or satin black?
Thanks

Original silicone is more than enough, just reheat to get a good seal. Make sure to remove all hardware before baking.
Krylon is good paint, get SATIN. Flat black looks like primer. Satin is 100000x better looking IMO.

I done messed up now
The headlight shroud broke in half by where the amber clips go in. The plastic is so thin it just snapped in half like nothing. We were also doing one of my friends headlights and his broke on the exact same side in the same place. We epoxied his but we didn't have enough time for mine to dry
My friend said he was gonna try to bondo it back into place and we're gonna try it again.

I know what you're talking about. Damn plastic is like 2mm thin in that spot. I blacked out close to 10 06/07 headlights and never broke one.
It's gonna be hard to bond 2 pieces together, but hey, here is an advice. First install that bigger piece (with 4 screws) and then glue the smaller one into it.

Actually that sound like a really good idea. Thanks! I'm buying another set of headlights from someone else on here for cheap so if all else fails, I'll just swap in those shrouds instead.

I get bored in sac when I go to visit my Grandmother. This looks like a good way to fight said boredom. I will have to hit you up next time I am out there.
