shop space is cheap in natomas these days
but in all seriousness, i can see both sides... the 65 interchange is a **** show... but destroying the exit will ruin more than just established businesses.

yes, 65 interchange seems to be waaaayyy too difficult for too many people. deciding that one needs to merge 100 feet before the lane turns from thick dashes to solid is usually not the proper place to merge, while driving a subruban filled with kids!
taylor exit though, pisses me off that it only exits one way (80-E), but i always look to my right when passing pauls street to look for any soobies. i really don't think it will impact his business in any way; just take eureka exit and shoot straight an extra block..

Taking the Eureka exit instead of the Taylor Rd exit only adds 2 stoplights and about half a mile of surface streets to the drive (if coming from i80 east). As mentioned above, taking the Eureka exit still takes you straight onto Taylor Rd. Doesn't really sound too detrimental, only thing I'd miss is the fun corner that comes with exiting Taylor Rd when I decide to take the long way home.

I dont really see adding another on ramp lane for the 65 loop.. i mean it would prolly just merge back down to two (still causing traffic to merge), unless they do a HUGE addition and add another complete lane down 65.

^ yeah it does. i've seen that (eureka) exit backed up almost to the free way.
i guess if they made the taylor exit a 2 way and expanded that section a bit it would help out.
it's all a moneys game though.
