As title states I'm looking for a used STi. I would be looking to trade my 05 WRX in on one (4k miles on it). Let me know what you can come up with, I checked Carmax and they have a few reasonably priced but I would rather steer clear of carmax if I can. Let me know as soon as you can, thanks alot!

I have a pretty good deal lined up on an EVO RS that I would gladly pass up for an equally good deal on an STi.

w3rd. I remember having a conversation similer with Eric. I almost fainted when I hear what I had to pay to get out. Too much for my blood.

 

I'll let you know when I can find one. We've had 3 used in the year that I've been here.

 

Its really not as bad as you would think considering what the bottom line was for my car and the down payment I put down. Obviously I will take a hit somewhere but for me right now, the long run is what I'm looking at.

I can get $ money back for most of the mods I have except of course the pretty penny for my tune and a few others.

There is another reason I'd like to get out of the car that I wish would have come to my attention long before now.

I could tell you about the time I bought a 2000 Camaro SS for 30k, traded it in on a 99 Vette 10 months later and got 22k for it, paid 43k for the vette which I sold straight up to a Chevy dealer for 32k about 4 months later, but I won't...

 

Low financing on a 05!

You are probably looking at 27-28 on a used STi from a dealer. That would be a car that they got at auction becuase people haven't been trading them in.

A new 05 will run about 31k depending on the options.

 

I'm keeing the WRX for now. I'm waiting for the 06's to come out and may swap my car out by late 06 early 07. Or I may just buy another one. (Thinking about an S4 though)

If as Jermane Dupre put it "Money ain't a thing" for you, then go for it. Personally, I couldn't see myself throwing money that I could use for something else on a car I could wait for. Maybe if I was younger but not now. I'm old.

Don't forget that you can probably trade your flashed ECU to another suby owner for a stock ECU + cash which should help recuperate some of the costs. You can likely sell your other mods too.
