If you are looking for a motorcycle helmet, Cycle Gear in town is a good choice. I beleive Suicycle is a Arai dealer too.

i am partial to Shoei helmets. But Arai makes a top notch product, they are one of the few i would trust my melon with.

I would stay away from a motorcycle shop, as they list the helmets at full retail. They will "give you a deal" when you buy a bike from them , but if you walk off the street, its full price

I like the air of superiority I get when paying full list price.

haha...thanks for the info. So a streetbike helmet is approved right? I'm trying to get into tracking, so i'm still learning the regulations and rules.

No - its not. Motocycle helmets are M rated, you need an SA rated helmet.
M rated helmets are made with a material that will withstand several smaller hits.
SA rated helmets are made with a material that will withstand one larger hit.
Go with an SA helmet, its track legal but it is more expensive, I believe. In 2002 I took advantage of a favorable dollar-to-euro rate and bought a Sparco helmet in GB, had it shipped to CA and, I believe, it was still under $200.
