APS Turbo Inlet Install...

For those that were at the install/BBQ yesterday, I confirmed that you don't need to remove the intake manifold to install this on a bugeye...

Had to move a lot of stuff out of the way, but it wasn't too difficult.

Yeah it was a fun install. I accidentally leaned on my old light that was about 300 degrees. I have a burn/blister that is about 3"x4" in my forearm that sticks out like a quarter inch.

fun stuff

I thought so too. I think it is because i lost a line from the tmic install. The instructions weren't the clearest, and the hoses lined up perfectly.

How are the gains with it? I'm thinking about getting one along with IC hoses. Let us know what you've experienced so far.

All i've really experienced so far are vaccuum leaks. Gotta hunt it down either tonight or tomorrow. It does seem to have increased spool. I'm hitting peak boost a good 2-300 rpm sooner.

I wouldn't think so. But I've never done it with the turbo out so I really don't know.
