The record companies' position is based on the dubious argument that digital downloads sell iPods. In fact all the evidence points to the opposite: that iPod sales have driven demand for downloads. The vast majority of digital music sales are made by iPod owners. Cut off Apple and the labels digital sales will slump." More recently Jobs resisted their pressure, and the execs snarked back. Looks like they're getting more serious.

Greedy ****s.
The $.99 per song policy is actually more expensive per song than the difference of the average amount of songs on a CD vs. the cost per CD.
If I were Apple I'd do everything in my power to **** these songs out cheaper despite these *******s. God knows they are making more than a killing on iPod sales.
Time to adapt to the times biatches. You want to make some good money then put out some good music for once that withstands the test of time until you're able to sell $200+ tickets like the Strolling Bones.

If you want good music you have to look for it, it's not likely you will find on the radio or TV, you might, just not likely.
