i<3subaru and I are looking to go up to emigrant trail area to find dirrty places... the mud/dirt kind... on the 6th.

 

it was a decent PITA.

gotta remove the glove box and the blower motor and a ton of plastic shrouding against the firewall. Its like a $1000 job at the dealer

 

How do you remove a glovebox? My handle broke off the glovebox and I can't figure out how to get into it... I fear I might have to cut out the center of it to get to the screws to replace it.

 

I wanna see these dirty spots!

 

im off on the 6th ;-)

 

i think there are 2 screws under the glove box and then once you open it theres 2-4 more you have to unscrew to pull it out

2 screws to remove the lock
there is 9 screws and 1 clip plus 2 screws under the dash if you wanna remove the whole thing.
...In case you wanna replace cabin filter.
Subaru glove boxes are not strong, you can open them by yanking or firmly pressing down upper part of the box
