Anyone knows good/affordable machine shop and TQ specs for EJ20???

My car started showing symptoms of slight rod knock (don't know how it happened, was always taking care of my WRX...I guess previous owners).
Anyways, I got an EJ20 block with a rod knock for $100 with engine stand, thanks to a fellow i-club member.
So, I took the short block apart, cleaned it. I'm ready for a rebuild. I have to machine my crankshaft before I put new bearing in.
I know one good machine shop called DELs but it's pricey...what are your guys' suggestions?
Plus if anyone (working as a mechanic with access to Mitchell books) could provide torque specs for assembling the EJ20, that would be awesome and deeply appreciated.

No offense, but driving around with up pipe, down pipe, cold air intake (if I remember correctly), and whatever else you have on it while completely untuned for said mods is taking good care of it? Or did you get it tuned?

I'll look around and see if I can find torque specs.

I'm not big fan of cold air intake, never had one and not gonna install it anytime soon. Hopefully you are coming to a next Subiefest, you should, your Forester would be kinda unique since 95% of Subies attending he event are either WRXs or STIs.

Although - I haven't used dels in at least 3 years.. So the "decent" part who knows now.. But they were dirt cheap for the service you were getting.

What work do you need done and what do you expect it to cost?

I guess I'm gonna stay wits Dels. They did a great job machining some parts for my friend's EVO few weeks ago.
I need to machine crankshaft for oversized bearings after rod knock. I'm expecting it to cost around $250

Today picked up my short block with all new internals from DEL's machine shop.
They did quality job.
Got new headgaskets and all the seals already.
I'm just waiting for that rod knock to develop (if that's a rod knock)....
