anyone have a set of OE steelie lugnuts???

i know this is a stretch, since almost everyone here has 02+ and those nver got steelies but here it goes:
going boarding tomorrow and its supposed to snow.
i was gonna slap the steelies on there but my lugnuts got misplaced.
so, does anyone have a set of spare steelie lugnuts i could borrow for a couple days?

i'm in the CP/Pville area, but hopefully i can find anyone close to Folsom/EDH.
i'm leaving tomorrow morning, so i have to get them early tonight!
i'd hate to have to go buy a set of 20 generic lugnuts for just this trip.

my rotas have the Nitto NEO-gens on there, and they're M+S rated, but the "S" has got to stand for Slush, cus i've felt those things in the rain and i def know that i don't want to try them in the snow, even if it meets the chain control's standards.

It's the wrong board, man :|

Noone up that way has something that came with steelies.

Hit up big-ho or something, or hell, even kragen. 12x1.25's.......

that's what i thought.
just wanted to check first.

guess i'll be spending $40 on some generics on the way home.

for $40, i'd rather get supertones for a few bucks more.
oh well.
its either that or risk the Neo-gens in the snow if it does snow...

i don't want to buy chains.
i've never owned a set personally and i grew up in the snow.

anyways, i made it fine on my rotas with the Neo-gens.
the guy at the chain control looks at the car, looks at me, asks "can you drive?" i say "yes sir." he replys "have a good day!" and waved me thru.
i didn't have any issues. subie AWD came thru like a champ!
very proud of the battle wagon!
i'll post pics of the front end covered in ice/slush when i got up to sierra.

shouldn't the oem lugnuts work?

all you need is something with a round edge right?

OE lugnuts were what i was missing and looking for.

my spline drives have a 45 angle, not a ball seat like the OE lugnuts.

no worries, i made it up there just fine.
the ordeal is over. back to your regularly scheduled SRIC mayhem.
