I have not been in five or so years, and now I remember why. $10 if you choose to park there (We parked right across the street at the old RoomSource parking lot). Its $12 per person to get in. If you choose to eat there its like $8 for a corndog (but they are pretty big). Nothing really new, same as I remember it being from every previous year ive been.

Main reason we went was to support our soon to be brother in law. He was in the singing competition for the semi-finals. He made it to the top 5 out of 14. Then the top three continue on tonight against singers from all over the state.

So if you want/wanted to go and dont end up going, as long as you have been before its basically the same stuff

 

the state fair really shows you how back asswards this state can be sometimes.

Cal Expo... started Friday and goes till Sept 7th i think something like that anyways

Do not bring women and children there. It's like Tijuana except instead of rat tacos it's carni spit corndogs.

 

No there probably wont be a shooting this year because Im not planning on going this year..haha but seriously. The wierdos kind of outweigh the fun. This lady lost her kid the last time I was there and there was cops everywhere. crazy stuff

 

We went down to Chevys on Fri night for happy hour with a few sric members and just driving past CE we saw like 8 cops within 3 blocks. Opening night and im sure they were worried about something like that happening again.

^ colton.. over by the main gate there is an entire freakin "Lost Child" center! (and its big) wtf.... just goes to show how many irresponsible ppl with kids are out there
