but i did feel it

 

It was 8 miles from my house in Truckee - 4.8 mag.

It was one of the longest ones I have felt up here. We had books fall off shelves and the whole house moved for about 4 seconds.

Hmm.... So i wasnt tripping out...? I thought my chair was moving weirdly back and forth, i thought it was me tripping out definately did NOT think it was an earthquake....

 

Wow, right in Trukee basically. My wife is up there and she called a 5.0... pretty accurate. :rotfl:

She said it felt like the ground was slipping.

 

Me and one other SECCS'er in Reno felt it out at Stead. We both thought it felt like being on an overpass when a semi is driving past. Strange.

 

I felt in the showroom at Autowest Subaru.

 

I didn't feel anything but my gf called and said her house was shaking and it sounded like a helicopter was over the house

Doh, I just posted about this in the daily thread, hadn't glanced down at the rest of the threads yet.

I'm in Orangevale and felt it. The mirror on my wall started vibrating and I think the doors made a little noise also, plus I could feel the house slightly swaying.

Yup, thats what I thought too, but there were no semi's or anything around where we were

In fact, our whole meet + drive felt it, we were up off of wentworth springs at the resevoir there having lunch.

 

yeah, my brtother felt it (in tahoe) and so now I get to go t oour house there early (wednesday) to see if our hosue there is ok... I can't wait to use the boat.
