In every speed camera test in other states ive seen so far the officials that voted the cameras in were promptly voted out of office... hope the same goes for california. If not im gonna have to invest in a sledge hammer.

The Brits apparently like to torch their speed cams, saw a picture of one not long ago that had been set on fire.

they have speed cams all over the place in so cal. i don't wanna sound discriminatory, but the first place i saw them popping up like crazy were in a city called garden grove. its predominantly asian...

i too am asian and yes i think many asian drivers suck *****. its not the ethnicity, but the immigrant status. many of these people never drove in their native countries nor do they believe in the "right of way" of pedestrians and other motorists. this is true for all immigrants, not just the asians. many old people drive ****ty too! i swear the DMV just be giving them driver's licenses away!!!

I thought speed cams were illegal in California? I know they tried to pass a law to make them legal about ten years ago, but I think it got shot down in the state senate or state supreme court.

And yes, I know a lot of Asian drivers should not be driving in the US. But, this also applies to most people whose native countries do not place a lot of significance on traffic laws like Mexico, India, and all of Africa lol. The funny part is that the people who do live in places that strictly follow traffic laws won't last on the streets of other countries.

Im pretty sure they are still illegal.. at least to issue tickets with. I know they use them for "traffic surveys" but there is still an anti speed trap law on the books.

The worst part about the speed cameras is how they package them. They claim they're for safety when fumbling a cellphone in your hands while driving has been rejected numerous times in CA.
