Yeah, too bad we've scored 45+ points each game thus far. But I agree, hopefully we can keep up this momentum.

look like I won't be a repeat customer. The re070s weren't even this bad!
RE92s FTW.

Or just... You know... Learn the limits of the tires you have? I drove near bald 615s for most of last winter and didn't even have a close call. I also rolled to tahoe in a blizzard on proxies.

I'm all for knowing the limits of the tires and driving within the limits, but when the limits in the wet are recockulously low, its time to go with a different tire.

These tires, with good tread left, did horribly on a slightly damp road, compared to the re070's which handled about the same, but on a mostly flooded road when they were bald.

When was the last time it rained significantly in that area?

Hint: it ain't the tires, slick

last time it rained significantly? January.

Ah yes, it could be the built up oil and crap. Honestly since it didn't really "rain" last night I didn't think of the first rain/built up oil theory.

That's when it's the worst. You've got all that crap on the road, and now it has just enough moisture to make it slick and not enough to wash any of it away.

Lots of tires can clear water, I still haven't run across one that can clear road oil
