I purposely made sure I could sit in my house all day so I could receive my new computer (which I deperatly need!).

Around 3:30 pm I check the tracking info and it said "THE RECEIVER WAS UNAVAILABLE TO SIGN ON THE 1ST DELIVERY ATTEMPT. A 2ND DELIVERY ATTEMPT WILL BE MADE".

Not available!!! Obvously the guy didn't knock very hard, or at all since I've been bored all day sitting inside waiting for the damned thing!!! Plus the guy came to my backdoor (as indicated by the little not they leave and I still woulda heard him knock if he had done it with any kind of effort). Why would he come to my back door!!! Argh!

UPS needs to teach their drivers to knock loud damnit!

Sorry, had to vent, Ive been waiting for this computer over a week and I was all excited to get it today.

you could find out what ups depot that was coming from, call them, and arrainge for pickup this evening. i've done that in the past with ups and fedex.

there should be a 1-800 number to track with if you don't have computer access, you can call that and they should be able to get you connected to the right place.

 

yeah, but my car is in the shop so I cant get over to chico to pic it up, Im in orohell (oroville). I called them at like 330 (they said they attempted to drop it off at 3:01) and the driver was supposed to call me back, never happened...

aaargh, one more freakin' day...

 

All the shipping companies suck ***, sorry to say. If the shipping company said that the driver will call back, it usually means they won't call back, but they'll come back and try to deliver it if they have time (usually the last stop in the evening, because it means overtime).

 

maybe he was trying to make a hint?

same here, i know when i hear a large truck its usually the ups/fedex guy

 

too many trucks pass my house (i live on a loud busy street )
