Elaborate on your car please, anything aftermarket done to it? Honestly if you're not running an upgraded turbo etc. you probably don't need one and running one stock would almost be a bad thing.

Ya gotta get the one where you can control the volume of the dump....come on, FAST AND FURIOUS!!!!
LOL, just kidding.
If you're stock, don't even think about it. An aftermarket BOV would do more harm than...well it doesn't do any good on a stock car.
Are you looking at VTA or Recirc?
Recirculating is the way to go!

If you're stock, just hold off on getting a BOV. If you're really wanting to get one, get one that you can switch between recirc and VTA. If you do end up getting one before you tune, put it to recirc and tune it. MUCH better than VTA
There is nothing inherently, mechanically wrong with a properly working BoV (personal tastes on the obnoxious noise is another story...). You'll just foul your plugs sooner. The problem is that a huge portion of them are not properly working, mostly due to user error. Many people have leaky valves and are none-the-wiser about it.
