--- Employees - This is a reminder that the use of fragranced products may have a health impact on co-workers. Continued use of fragranced products can adversely affect the health of co-workers and others who are allergic (including asthmatic reactions) to such products.

While ---- does not have a blanket fragrance-free workplace policy, when actual adverse health effects may be involved, certain office areas may need to restrict the use of fragranced products in order to provide reasonable accommodation to affected employees. Many personal care products contain added fragrances. The voluntary use of perfumes or colognes is an often-cited source of reported adverse health effects in allergic individuals.

Therefore, as a matter of courteous treatment of others in the workplace, employees are therefore RESPECTFULLY ENCOURAGED to limit their use of perfumes and colognes, and may be REQUIRED to avoid using perfumes and colognes in office locations where allergic employees are being continually exposed to perfumes and colognes
