So I land in Portland, get off the plane and turn my cell phone on. Almost instantly I get a voicemail tone and icon. When I check the voicemail it sounds like an old message that Matt left a few weeks ago, but since it gave no date stamp or time code I called him just to check. Sure enough it was an old message that I thought I had deleted and I said something like ther is one more thing that sucks about Portland. Well the lady behind me at the baggage claim did not like the fact that I insulted her town and she started to lecture me. You should have seen the look on her face when I told her to shut the eff up...
The hotel has wireless internet for $10 a day - yup that is going on the expense report...
I am staying on the 14th floor, which may as well be called the 13th since few buildings have a 13th floor, they just somehow lose count between 12 and 14 and think they are fooling us. Not so effing fast Paris...
On top of that the windows in the room open - all the way. I am a latch and a jump away from a 13 (yup that is right I said 13) story swan dive to party central. I don't need no stinking bus to Hades I'll get ther on my own...
