well here is another thread from the dead.... car and driver's "insider" is basing the look of the new STI to be like that of the concept created for the video game (as seen in my first post on this thread). The artical also shows other new changes for other cars...

Thunderbolt twin? I was more thinking F-150 Lightning, S-10 Extreme, Dakota R/T and their ilk.

Also, I can't wait for the new design. If the rumors are true, I may hold off on buying an Impreza. The current headlight design leaves much to be desired (luckily, the driveline more then makes up for it).

Does that have a built H6 powerhouse in there? I hear its supposed to competing with the new M3's.

I don't feel bad about about buying mine since I don't like the body-style on the 06's.

Rumor has it that the new body style will be for the 07. So 06 should keep the current body style.

I sort of like the 07 body style.
