'04 Wagon Suspension update
Prodrives and AGX's were installed today. Took the WRX out for a spin on the Garden Highway. Does seem to handle better, but I need some tighter curves and some experimentation to find the best setting.
There is some additional bounciness and NVH, but the ride is still comfortable on the current neutral settings. I'm hoping some STI topmounts will control the bouncing, though I suspect the ride comfort will suffer some. The ride probably feels more bouncy than it actually looks. It's the additional suspension noise that bothers me the most. Cranking up the tunes takes care of some of that.
The car does look better with the reduced wheel gap. I'll try and get some pics this weekend.
I think I'm about done with more mods for the moment (except tophats). Now, it's the driver that needs some mods to his driving skillz! If I didn't have to be at work tomorrow, I'd be learnin' the ropes at Thunderhill!

I was wondering when you'd be by to get your car. I've been seeing it down there this week
If you want a twistier road, exit del paso at 5 and head to el centro, hang a right on el centro and go for it. Will loosely follow the freeway out to the airport

Thanks, I'll check out El Centro. I always think everything is slow now in that area with all the development going on.
The noise is just the suspension when going over bumps. I'll need to listen to it more to describe it better. I notice it mostly in the right front. It just seems to enter the cabin more than it did with the stock springs and shocks. Also, tire noise seems a bit more noticeable, not that the WRX was quiet before.
I'm thinking something like Hy 193, Salmon Falls and the other roads up in the Sierra will be the place to really check out the difference.
Oh, I almost forgot......thanks again to S2 for the install!
