***Free*** Workbench
I thought I would offer this up to i-club before anyone else. I have decided to get rid of my uber stout industrial workbench. Many of you have seen this behemoth at an install day. It is constructed of 1.5/8" Unistrut with a 1/8" thick steel work surface. The workbench is 14' long and 25" deep and has an additional lower level for storage.
The beauty of the design is that it can be broken down for transport utilizing a pickup truck. The steel top (2 pieces) is rather heavy, but I managed to muscle into place 7 years ago all by myself.
If anyone wants this thing, let me know. I have all of the hardware for a free standing or wall-mount installation. All it takes is simple tools to disassemble and re-assemble. It would only have to be disassembled in half to fit in a truck.
I'll take a pic tonight for those who have not seen this workbench.
Best part is that it is free.
