This picture (if real) proves the rumor that the STi was approved for State trooper use. Many say that recently it was for the use of Running down street racers, and also catching high speed cars on I-70 between Grand Junction and Glenwood (speed limit 75, straight, no turns, easy to get over 100) because now that the Cammaro is dead they dont have a high speed car they can buy to catch these people.

DaWorstPlaya is right, that is NOT a real cop car, the owner works for the CSP. That pic is going to become a poster to try and stop street racing. Just look for it on clubwrx.net.

If they are using it to catch high speed cars, I hope the STi does better than the WRX at higher speeds (above 75). My Rex pretty much runs out of gas when going that fast. There's no hanging with a Z28, that's for sure.

That explains why the CSP was looking for Red and Yellow souped up imports for their promotions. Don't know who else saw it, but I recall a while back that there was a call for cars like those.
